Cuban Doctor Noel Alexander Fernandez Rodriguez Leaves Brava After 2 and a Half Years of Service
Brava, September 1, 2024 – Last week, the Mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, received in audience Dr. Noel Alexander Fernandez Rodriguez, a Cuban doctor who, after two and a half years of service to the island's community, is about to begin his return trip to Cuba.
During the meeting, memories and experiences accumulated during Dr. Rodriguez’s time working on Brava were shared. The Mayor, on behalf of the entire population of the island, expressed deep gratitude for the doctor’s dedication and commitment, highlighting the positive impact his work has had on local health.
Dr. Rodriguez, who arrived in Brava with the mission of supporting the local health system, has become a beloved figure among residents. His commitment to the well-being of the community and his professional skills were widely praised during the meeting.
